Terms of Service

Last updated: June 16, 2026

Before you start

By using Temp Mail at mytempmail.pro — whether you load the page once or come back every day — you are agreeing to these Terms of Service. If you disagree with anything here, please stop using the service.

We may update these Terms when the service changes or when the law requires it. The date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version. Continuing to use Temp Mail after an update means you accept the change.

What Temp Mail actually is

Temp Mail generates anonymous, disposable email addresses that you can use to receive messages — without giving websites your real inbox. Here is what that means in practice:

  • You get an address instantly, with no registration and no password
  • You can receive emails at that address in real time
  • You cannot send emails — this is a receive-only service
  • The address and everything in its inbox are automatically deleted when it expires
  • We provide no uptime guarantee and no promise that every email will be delivered

The service is provided free of charge. There is no paid tier and no subscription.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old to use Temp Mail. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that using Temp Mail does not violate any law in your country or region.

What you can use it for

Temp Mail exists to give people a way to protect their real inbox. It is built for things like:

  • Receiving OTP codes and email verification links from websites and apps
  • Signing up for a service or free trial without using your personal address
  • Testing email flows during software development or QA
  • Protecting your primary inbox from marketing and spam
  • Any other lawful, honest purpose where a short-lived inbox is useful

What you cannot use it for

Some things are off-limits. Using Temp Mail to do any of the following is a violation of these Terms and may result in your access being blocked without notice:

  • Fraud or deception: phishing attacks, impersonation, financial fraud, identity theft, or any scheme designed to deceive another person or organisation
  • Illegal activity: anything that violates any applicable law — local, national, or international
  • Harming others: harassment, threats, defamation, or any communication intended to harm an individual or group
  • Platform evasion: circumventing bans, suspensions, or security controls on third-party platforms in ways that violate their terms
  • Automated abuse: using bots, scripts, or other automated tools to access the service at scale without our prior written permission
  • Distributing malware: using a temporary inbox as part of any chain that delivers malicious software or links
  • Reselling access: offering the service — or access to it — commercially without a written agreement with us
  • Reverse engineering: attempting to extract source code, reverse-engineer our API, or replicate core functionality

We monitor for abuse and take it seriously. If we believe you are using the service to harm others, we will act.

Do not rely on it for important things

Temp Mail is not suitable — and not intended — for communications where reliability, permanence, or confidentiality matters. Do not use a temporary address for:

  • Bank accounts, investment platforms, or financial services
  • Medical, legal, or government correspondence
  • Account recovery for any service you care about keeping access to
  • Any situation where losing access to emails would cause you real harm

If you use Temp Mail for these things and something goes wrong, we are not liable. Use your real email for anything that matters.

Our content and code

Everything on mytempmail.pro — the design, the code, the copy, the logo — belongs to Temp Mail or the people who licensed it to us. You get a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the service as intended. You do not get the right to copy it, scrape it, or build a competing product with it.

You are welcome to link to us. That is it.

External links

Emails in your temporary inbox may contain links to third-party sites. We have no control over those sites and take no responsibility for their content, safety, or practices. Click links from unknown senders at your own risk.

No warranties

Temp Mail is offered as-is. We do not promise the service will always be available, that every email will arrive, or that it will work perfectly with every website on the internet. Many services actively block disposable email addresses — that is outside our control.

To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limits on our liability

We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service — including missed verification codes, account lockouts caused by expired addresses, or any other outcome. Our maximum total liability to you under these Terms is £100, or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (which, given the service is free, is most likely zero).

Suspension and termination

We can suspend or permanently block access to the service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe these Terms have been violated or if we need to for technical, legal, or business reasons. We will not issue refunds for suspended access because there is nothing to refund.

Protecting us from your mistakes

If your use of Temp Mail causes a legal claim against us — for example, because you used it to harm someone — you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from that claim, including any legal fees we reasonably incur.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute that cannot be resolved between us informally goes to the courts of England and Wales. If you are based in the EU, you may also have rights under the courts of your own country.

If part of this is unenforceable

If a court decides any part of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, that part will be removed or changed to the minimum extent necessary. The rest of the Terms remain in full effect.
