What this page is for
Temp Mail is a straightforward tool with real limitations. This page exists to be honest about those limitations — what we can and cannot do, what we are and are not responsible for, and where the boundaries of the service sit. We would rather be direct about this than hide it in fine print.
This is a tool, not a guarantee
Temp Mail gives you a disposable inbox. It does not guarantee that every email sent to that inbox will arrive, that it will arrive on time, or that it will render perfectly. Email delivery involves multiple systems we do not control — the sending server, Cloudflare Email Routing, spam filters, and more. Any of these can introduce delays or drop a message entirely.
If you are waiting for an OTP or a verification link and it does not show up within a couple of minutes, the issue is almost certainly at the sender's end or in transit — not something we can fix for you in the moment. We are not responsible for consequences that result from a missed or delayed email.
Not suitable for anything important
Temp Mail is built for low-stakes, throwaway use. It is genuinely not the right tool for:
- Banking, financial services, or investment accounts
- Medical records, healthcare portals, or prescriptions
- Legal correspondence of any kind
- Government services, tax filings, or official ID registration
- Account recovery for services you cannot afford to lose access to
- Any communication where you need a record that persists beyond a few hours
If you use it for these things and something goes wrong — the address expires before you get the email, or the email never arrives — that outcome is on you, not us. Use your real email for anything that matters.
Many sites block disposable email addresses — that is expected
A growing number of websites maintain lists of known disposable email domains and reject registrations from them. If a site refuses to accept a Temp Mail address, that is the site's policy, not a bug in our service. We cannot guarantee that our domains will be accepted by any particular third-party website or application. We do not offer workarounds or alternative domains specifically to circumvent these blocks.
No advice is given here
Nothing on this website — in our blog posts, FAQ answers, guides, or anywhere else — constitutes legal, financial, security, or technical advice. Content is written to inform and explain, not to replace professional guidance. If you are making a decision that has legal, financial, or security implications, consult a qualified professional. Do not rely on a temp email website for that.
External links in emails and on the site
Emails delivered to your temporary inbox may contain links to external websites. We do not inspect, verify, or endorse those links. Clicking a link in an email from an unknown sender carries the same risks it always does — potential phishing, malware, or scams. We are not responsible for any harm that results from following a link in a received email or from visiting any external site linked on our platform.
The service may be unavailable
We run on Cloudflare Workers and Supabase, both of which are highly reliable — but no infrastructure is perfect. The service may be interrupted by planned maintenance, unexpected outages in our infrastructure providers, DDoS attacks, or other circumstances outside our control. We do not offer an uptime SLA. If the service is down when you need it, we genuinely apologise, but we are not liable for losses resulting from that unavailability.
Accuracy of information on this site
We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on mytempmail.pro accurate and current. However, we do not warrant that it is complete, error-free, or up to date at all times. We reserve the right to change, update, or remove content at any time without notice. If you spot something that looks wrong, tell us — we will look into it.
Our liability is limited
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Temp Mail is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive loss or damage arising from your use of — or inability to use — this service. This includes but is not limited to: missed emails, expired inboxes, rejected addresses on third-party sites, service outages, or actions taken based on content received in a temporary inbox.
